These dedicated guides are currently enrolled in prestigious college programs and bring their expertise to life each summer with Bk2Ak and other leading organizations.

What’s Included: The trip balances four nights of a wilderness rafting adventure with four nights of comfortable accommodations at the Kennicott Glacier Lodge and the Lake Louise Lodge.

Rafting Adventure: Fly in for four nights of a wilderness river rafting adventure to the majestic Nizina River Valley, located in the center of the vast, pristine wilderness of Wrangell St. Elias National Park. Camp next to glaciers and wild rivers. Gaze at 16,000-foot snow-covered mountains. Eat gourmet meals paired with your favorite wine. Watch wild eagles fish alongside bears in the river you’re rafting. At the end, take a stunning bush-plane flight back out to McCarthy.

Kennicott: Stay in the heart of the historic mining town Kennicott, where you can walk around the living museum sites from the Copper rush, or lounge in the Kennicott Glacier Lodge and gaze at the incredible views of the glacier and glacial lake. Hike on the glacier and drink straight from icy glacial pools, then hike up and see the entire Wrangell mountain range in the snowy peaks of Castle Rock.
